visual Productivity

Strategies, tools and tactics. We all love reading best practices and then trying to implement. However, the friction is high. In most cases what we learn can’t be applied as is. The Visual Productivity talks distill my best ideas and tactics of working on multiple projects as a creative, which Visual is her love language.

These talk aim to reduce overwhelm, maximise clarity and allow creatives to reach their long term goals by taking a micro-step at a time.

The talks are jam packed with information and loaded with cut & paste tools and templates. Included are real life stories of wins and failures, all contributing to the nature of life: ever changing.

Visual productivity tactics

How could visual creatives reach their goals with minimal distractions?

And really, how could the color red, an overflowing storage space and more than two screens help us?

In this talk, we’ll go over 10 tactics which cultivate focus and effective work, all based on visual methods. After multiple of my own errors, you will get the distilled, tried and tested best ideas, all based on research.

Container map

Try to count your incoming stuff in a single day: tasks at work, equipment for your kid’s school, birthday gifts, all kinds of bureaucracy, pictures to hang, an outfit you’re thinking of buying, ideas and dreams popping up.

Each of these add to the things we should remember to do in any given moment. Resulting in an ever increasing mental load. It’s no wonder that we can feel our head exploding.

This interactive talk starts by identifying the reasons we always feel overwhelmed. Then, we’ll start mapping them into containers. This should allow easy retrieval when we actually need to handle them — and mainly — reduce the fatigue of trying to remember it all. The method learned will be personalised for your life.

Project management for
multi-passionates

Finding a system to work on a project is crucial. But what happens when you are working on multiple projects? This talk is for the multi-passionate, and is constructed of high-level strategy of prioritizations and nitty-gritty details of managing tasks, progress and focused goals of several ventures. This talk drills down and unpacks the full system and tools I have been working with for the past decade. A system mixing analog and digital, allowing maximum clarity. Expected outcome: know the path to your own system, or simply duplicate mine.
